Can I have this done?

Semi-permanent makeup will NOT be done on the following if you are:

  • Pregnant/Breastfeeding

  • Under 18

  • Going through Chemotherapy

  • On strong Acne medication eg. Roaccutane

  • Have an active skin disease on the brow area

  • Taking blood thinning medication (anti-coagulants)

  • Diabetic (due to healing complications)

  • Prone to keloid scarring

  • Allergic to metal

  • Allergic to pain relief (lidocaine)

  • HIV patients

Due to extremely high risk, poor results and safety concerns, these are the conditions in which you cannot get a cosmetic tattoo. You are encouraged to see a doctor and receive the necessary treatment first if you have a particular skin condition on the area that is to be tattooed, (conditions such as eczema, psoriasis or cold-sores). A doctors approval letter will be needed before any cosmetic tattoo is considered.

You will need to wait 6 months after finishing strong medication, or chemotherapy (with doctors approval) to have a tattoo. Products such as Roaccutane for Acne cause the skin barrier to become extremely weak, thin and fragile, massively implicating safety, integrity of the skin and results.

Please mention all medication that you take to Cienna before paying the deposit. Her training company ‘Phibrows’ provides the use of an online doctor that she can ask and check which medication is acceptable to be on, and which ones pose a risk before having cosmetic tattooing done.
